Partner Agreement
Last updated
This agreement is between Tahlib Private Limited ("Tahlib", "we") and you, the partner. It applies when you join the Tahlib Partner Program and covers how you refer restaurants to Tahlib and how you are paid for it. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.
Your own commission terms — the rate, how many paid months it lasts and the holding period — are shown in your partner portal. They are part of this agreement.

1. Joining the program
You apply, or we invite you. We review every application and may decline one without giving a reason. Your referrals count only after we approve you and you accept this agreement in the partner portal.
You sign in to the portal with the email address on your application. It must be verified.
2. How a referral is counted
- You get a referral code (for example AHMED10) and a link (tahlib.com/r/ahmed10).
- When someone opens your link, we remember it in their browser for a period shown in the program settings (30 days at launch). If they create a Tahlib restaurant account in that time, the restaurant is your referral.
- If they type a partner code when they sign up, that code counts — even if they opened another partner’s link earlier.
- A restaurant has one referring partner, decided once, when it creates its Tahlib account. It cannot be changed later by the restaurant or by you. If we made a mistake, we may correct it; earnings already credited stay where they were.
- Restaurants that already had a Tahlib account before your referral are not your referrals.
- Signing up your own restaurant, or one you own or control, is not a referral and earns nothing.
- We may hold a referral for review — for example when several sign-ups come from one code in a day. A held referral earns, but nothing from it is paid until we finish reviewing it. If we find it was not genuine, what it earned is cancelled.
A visit to your link is not a referral. Only restaurants count.
3. What you earn
You earn a commission on the subscription payments a referred restaurant actually makes to Tahlib, as set out in your terms in the portal. Commission is calculated on what the restaurant paid for its subscription, after discounts and before tax. It is not paid on:
- taxes (such as VAT or GST);
- Communication Credits, message charges or other usage-based charges;
- invoices that have not been paid;
- amounts that are refunded.
Free plans and free trials earn nothing until the restaurant starts paying. A restaurant’s first payment must come within the period shown in your terms after it signs up (365 days at launch); if it pays for the first time later than that, it earns nothing.
Recurring commission lasts for the number of paid months in your terms — months the restaurant actually paid for, not calendar months — and then ends. An annual payment counts as twelve paid months.
4. Holding period and refunds
Each commission becomes ready to pay after the holding period in your terms (30 days at launch), counted from the restaurant’s payment. This covers the refunds our Refund Policy allows.
If a payment is refunded, the commission on it is reduced by the same share. If that commission was already paid to you, the amount is deducted from your future commission.
5. Payouts
- We pay commission that is ready to pay once it reaches the minimum for its currency, shown in your portal. Commission is held in the currency the restaurant paid in; amounts in different currencies are paid separately.
- We pay by bank transfer (or another method we agree with you) to the details you give in the portal. You are responsible for keeping them accurate. A transfer that fails because of wrong details is returned to your balance.
- If we send the money in a different currency, the amount sent may differ because of conversion and bank charges.
- You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. Where the law requires us to withhold tax, we withhold it and tell you how much.
- We may ask for information we need to pay you lawfully, such as a tax registration number, before paying.
6. Changes to your terms
We may change your commission terms or this agreement. A change to your terms applies to restaurants you refer after it; restaurants you referred before keep the terms they were referred under. We will tell you by email and in the portal. If you do not agree, you can leave the program.
7. How you may promote Tahlib
Promote Tahlib honestly. You must not:
- say you are Tahlib, or speak for Tahlib, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests that;
- promise results, income or prices that Tahlib does not offer;
- send spam or messages people did not agree to receive;
- bid on "Tahlib" or similar brand terms in paid search ads;
- create fake accounts, or pay or pressure restaurants to sign up;
- break any law that applies to your marketing.
8. Suspension and leaving
You can leave the program at any time by telling us. Commission you have already earned on genuine referrals remains payable under this agreement.
We may suspend or end your participation if you break this agreement, or end the program with notice. While you are suspended, your link does not count new referrals and your earnings are held. Commission from referrals that broke this agreement is cancelled.
9. Our relationship and information
You are an independent partner, not our employee or agent, and you cannot make commitments for Tahlib.
In the portal you see the business names of the restaurants you referred and what they earned you — nothing about their owners or their operations. Use it only to follow your referrals.
Disputes are handled as set out in our Terms of Service. Questions: hello@tahlib.com.
